Yokochō Extended Desk Mat

Yokochō steps forward a century. A narrow alley of yakitori counters and hanging noren, printed almost entirely in blue and orange, with a cat sitting by the crates and steam rising from a stall. It's a new work rather than a historical print, borrowing woodblock's flat colour and hard line for a contemporary scene.

The two-colour treatment keeps it graphic and readable even with a keyboard across the middle of it. At 900 × 400mm the alley runs into the distance along the full length of the mat.
