Banned Extended Desk Mat

Golf first appears in writing as a ban. In March 1457 the Scottish parliament outlawed it, because men were playing instead of practising their archery. It was banned again in 1471 and again in 1491. Nobody stopped.

Banned renders one hole as an island of fairway, bunkers and water floating on deep navy — the most graphic composition in the collection, and the one with the driest joke behind it.

The dark ground makes it forgiving in daily use and a natural match for black peripherals. At 900 × 400mm the hole plays out across the full width. Printed on our DuraWeave™ surface with a stitched edge, designed and finished between Oslo and Glasgow.
